Perinatal in Practice

NOVEMBER 2017

PROVIDER: The Black Dog Institute

DATE: Thursday 30 November

SYNOPSIS:

The perinatal period is a time of heightened risk for a variety of mental health conditions. Despite the portrayal of early parenthood as a time of unmitigated joy and fulfilment, many new parents experience a different reality. This workshop aims to introduce health professionals to the current understanding of perinatal mood disorders and its management, using lecture, case studies and interactive exercises.
