Carers Information Health Services

You might not think of yourself as a Carer. In truth many carers see themselves as a family member who look after a person they love, not as a Carer. Carers come from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds, and provide care for a variety of reasons. There are approximately 904,000 carers in NSW. Carers are everyday people who provide unpaid and ongoing care and support to someone they know who has a disability, mental illness, drug or alcohol dependency, chronic condition, end-of-life-health or who is frail. Below are some services and pathways that can help you if you are a Carer.
