VENUE: Walk starts at Hornsby Mall

SYNOPSIS: 

Each year, from 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to 10 December, Human Rights Day, is the international campaign of 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence. It is the time to galvanize action to end violence against women and girls around the world.

There are also other events happening including:

  • “Family & Domestic Violence” Information Display: 22nd November – 29th November at Hornsby Library
  • “Community Against Violence” Community Connections Hot Desk: – 2:00 – 4: 00 pm Thursday 24th November at Hornsby Library. FREE 20 minute appointments with experts including police, court and family support. Bookings can be made at Hornsby Library Information Desk or please phone 9847 6614.
