SYNOPSIS:
This workshop has been revised and updated to reflect the current issues in the psychological treatment of bipolar disorder and includes some material from the original course. It uses interactive learning via case studies and videos from clients and their carers. The workshop includes tools to aid in the accurate assessment, diagnosis and management of bipolar I and II, looks at the critical role psychologists play in the management of bipolar, the most effective psychological interventions, the importance of assessing the impact of bipolar on the family unit and addressing the needs of carers and their crucial role in the management of bipolar disorder.
