Prof Milton Cohen
Professor Milton Cohen is a specialist pain medicine physician and rheumatologist and an adjunct professor in the St Vincent’s Clinical School of UNSW Sydney. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a past Dean of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists. Dr Cohen has been a leader in the development of pain medicine as a discipline, with interests in pain theory and practice, rational pharmacotherapy for pain and implications of persistent pain for public policy.
Dr Esther Han
I am a passionate and empathetic doctor working privately in general practice and publicly in a drug and alcohol impatient withdrawal management (detox) unit. My special interests are antenatal care, sexual health and family planning, women and children’s health and drug and alcohol. I enjoy teaching medical students, registrars and GPs. I’m involved in education with RACGP, GP Synergy and the Sydney North Health Network. I am currently involved in research looking at improving shared care of patients with drug and alcohol issues. I also do some freelance medical and pharmaceutical consulting work.
