Information will also be provided by Hepatitis NSW about their community project for hepatitis B within Korean communities.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

GPs, nurses and allied health workers.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:
  • Know who to test and how to accurately interpret test results.
  • Identify the importance of early diagnosis, follow up and appropriate management (including vaccination) for at risk/CHB patients.
  • Describe the intervention points throughout the natural history of HBV.
  • Identify the different treatment options and the need for lifelong monitoring for people living with chronic hepatitis B.
COST:
This is a FREE course for GPs, nurses and allied health workers.
