The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists’ (RANZCP) Section for Youth Mental Health 2020 Conference will take place in Manly from 6th-7th March 2020.
The theme, ‘Coming of age’, acknowledges the maturing of the youth mental health field into an internationally recognised area of clinical and scientific endeavour. The conference will review how far the field has come, where it is now and, most importantly, what youth mental health should be aiming to achieve as the field enters ’adulthood’.
The outstanding line up of presentations and discussions will include, but are not limited to:
- A Keynote address from Professor Patrick McGorry
- Climate change and mental illness
- Family approaches to developing systems of safety around young persons
- Trauma and psychosis
