Seeking health professionals with specialised knowledge and experience in rare and genetic diseases

The Genetic and Rare Disease Network in Western Australia is setting up a register of health professionals with specialist knowledge and experience in a rare and/or genetic disease. This information may be of benefit to health professionals in seeking specific advice and information regarding rare and genetic diseases.

There are currently over 80 Australian Health Professionals listed on the register. We anticipate this register could create networking opportunities for health professionals across Australia and improve access to specialist knowledge. The register would be made available within the Health Professionals page. In addition, The National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) may include consenting health professionals in their rare disease expert list.

If you’re a health professional interested in self-nominating an area of specialised knowledge and experience in genetic and rare diseases, please complete this short survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/J7XPP6Q. Feel free to distribute the survey link to colleagues.

Enquiries and feedback: Please email hello@gardn.org.au.
