Designed for our Youth – Mental Health Services

headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds. In the Sydney north region there are two headspace locations – Chatswood and Brookvale.

The service is designed to make it easy as possible for a young person and their family to get the support they need for problems affecting their wellbeing.

Support is provided across four core areas: mental health, physical health, work and study support and alcohol and other drug services and access to a GP, psychologist, social worker, alcohol and drug worker, counsellor, vocational worker or youth worker are all available under the one roof. A number of centres also have Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers, welfare workers and family therapists.
headspace services are available to young people for free, and are provided in a safe, confidential and youth-friendly environment
