EOI: Mental Health Advisory Committee

A new Sydney North Health Network (SNHN) Mental Health Advisory Committee is now seeking individual expression of interest from both clinical and community members who want to make a difference in local health care.

The SNHN Mental Health Advisory Committee will give members an important voice in the area of local mental health needs. You will provide advice to SNHN on local mental health issues, priorities and gaps to help shape local services and programs.

About Sydney North Health Network

Sydney North Health Network (SNHN) is a new and locally based primary care organisation. We were put in place by the Australian Government in July 2015 to help people to get the right care, in the right place at the right time.

We work in partnership with local general practitioners, allied health professionals, hospitals, health providers, Non-Government Organisations and the local and federal governments to help improve the health system.

About the SNHN Mental Health Advisory Committee

We now invite individual expressions of interest from a range of stakeholders who are interested in providing representation for one or more of the following areas:

  • General Practice
  • Alcohol & Other Drugs
  • Suicide Prevention
  • Allied Health
  • Carers
  • Individuals with a Lived Experience of Mental Illness
  • NGO
  • Aboriginal Health
  • Culturally and Linguistically Diverse
  • Specialist Mental Health Care
  • NSLHD
  • Aged Care
  • Youth Health

The first meeting of the committee will be held on Wednesday 16th March 2016.
