EOI: GP Placements for University of Sydney Medical Students

EOI Title: GP Placements for University of Sydney Medical Students

Description

At the Sydney Medical School, students in the 3rd year of the 4 year program undertake an immersive general practice and community medicine term. Students spend 3.5 weeks with each of two GP practices per term including urban, outer urban, rural, remote rural and aboriginal medical services.

The University of Sydney is looking for practices that are interested in becoming a teaching practice for the program. Participation attracts a Practice Incentive Payment through Medicare of $200 per half day and student teaching is a registered activity for CPD points.  GPs can become Honorary Title holders with the University of Sydney Discipline of General Practice and become part of our General Practice group.
