SYNOPSIS:

Sydney North Primary Health Network (SNPHN) invites local GPs, Primary Care Nurses, Practice Managers and Practice staff to a workshop to develop and apply understanding of Aboriginal cultures to improve service and program outcomes.

In collaboration with Black Dog, SNPHN invites GPs and mental health professionals registered with PCCS Psychological Access Plus to Advanced Training in Suicide Prevention. Increase your skill and confidence in taking a detailed suicide history and developing a collaborative management plan to increase the safety of people planning suicide. The workshop provides practical tools for managing the full spectrum of suicide risk presentations including the acute suicidal crisis, care after a suicide attempt and assisting families experiencing suicide bereavement.
