My Health Record in Pharmacy

SYNOPSIS:

This session will provide practical demonstrations of how to access the My Health Record through the Provider Portal and Fred IT dispensing software. Following a presentation on the features and benefits of the My Health Record, a number of case studies will be explored to demonstrate ways in which the My Health Record can improve communication between healthcare providers and contribute to improved patient care. Assistance with registration for the My Health Record system will be offered to all attendees at the event.


Medical Emergency Training for General Practitioners

SYNOPSIS:

Sydney North Primary Health Network (SNPHN) invites GPs to this three-part training series delivered by Cynergex, a provider of training in emergency prehospital management of medical emergencies.
The education is being delivered over three 2 hour interactive modules (Modules 1,2 & 3).

This new workshop aims to increase GPs skill and confidence in taking a detailed suicide history and developing a collaborative management plan to increase the safety of people planning suicide. The workshop provides practical tools for GPs managing the full spectrum of suicide risk presentations including the acute suicidal crisis, care after a suicide attempt and assisting families experiencing suicide bereavement.
