Asthma Australia together with your local Asthma Foundation is pleased to present the 2016 Asthma Symposia series. They encourage health professionals involved in all aspects of asthma and allergy related care to attend. With a wide and varied program, incorporating research and clinical updates through to practical information on device technique, they believe you will find something to meet your professional needs within the series.

Keynote speaker Associate Professor Helen Reddel will be presenting her ‘Living with Severe Asthma’ study.

A/Professor Helen Reddel is a respiratory physician mainly working on primary care research and guidelines for asthma and COPD. A/Prof Reddel’s current research focusses on practical strategies to improve asthma and COPD management, with particular interest in adherence and inhaler technique; collaborations with GPs, pharmacists and practice nurses; and population monitoring of asthma and COPD. She has a strong focus on improving communication between patients and health professionals, and on making guidelines not only evidence-based, but also practical and practice-centred.
