The topic for this year’s ASM will be “Well in Work” which will incorporate the following elements:
Major themes addressing topical issues in workplace health
The conference will feature high calibre speakers and interactive formats, with major themes including health surveillance, mental health in the workplace, and workplace health promotion. In the area of health surveillance the program will feature traditional and emerging hazards, as well as surveillance relating to general health and wellbeing.
Practical site visits
As usual, a highlight will be a diverse range of site visits, which will lend practical application to the conference themes and showcase this beautiful seaside city. Visits will include: Moly-Cop Steelworks, Kooratang Island, Westrac and Hunter Medical Research Institute, with others in the pipeline.
Medical and nursing streams
The conference will once again feature parallel streams for nursing and medical professionals as well as the popular CPR update.
