The Art of Ageing Exhibition

The Hon John Ajaka, Minister for Ageing invites you to a special celebration at the Lower Town Hall to officially open the Art of Ageing exhibition.

We are getting older. By 2031, one in three people will be over 50. One in five will be over 65. But older people aren’t all the same.

Like the rest of the community, they live diverse lives. How they experience ageing, and how they want to age is unique.

The Art of Ageing exhibition is a series of photographs and stories that celebrate the lives of older people living in NSW. It aims to challenge perceptions of ageing.

The photographs are the works of Louise Hawson who has been documenting the lives of older people as part of the renewed NSW Ageing Strategy.

When: Friday, 21 October 2016, 4:00pm – 7:30pm
Where: Lower Town Hall, Sydney

Please RSVP here by 19 October, 2016.
